The 2010 GMC Sierra can speed up from 0 to 60 mph in 8.2 seconds and 0 to 90 mph in 17.5 seconds. It covers distance of quarter mile in 16. 3 seconds at a speed of 87 mph. The top speed of the truck is estimated to be 98 mph. The fuel economy is derived as 20/20 mpg as per EPA city/highway driving system and C/D is expected to be 16 mpg.

When GMC Sierra 1500 drew cab is equipped with a 5.3 liter V-8 that produces 315 hp and a torque of 338 lb-ft that costs about $36,980, while the 6.0 liter V-8 engine that provides the power of 367 hp, torque of 375 lb-ft and price is increased to $2550.

The engine of Sierra is pretty big and it is made of milder aluminum. The four-wheel drive Sierra hybrid bears the base price of $42,535. But, the price rises to $48,670, when the vehicle is equipped with 3 HB trim package.

This package is also provided with luxurious features of leathering seat, navigation and a Bose premium stereo system. Its transmission consists of manual shifting along with the continuous automatic 4 fixed ratios. The wheel base of the truck is about 143.5 inches. So as a whole, the 2010 Sierra has many advantages of attractive engineering and smooth operation, but is a lot of scope for improvement in the vehicle at the same time too.
